Last night I went to my bar, and broke the news to my beloved bartender Lauretta (spelling now corrected) that I'm leaving. It was slightly depressing. She said I should open a b&g in wisconsin and she'd come move to work there. *isnt that adorable* We exchanged addresses...those of you who I favor know I'm an obsessive mail sender...so that should be rad. We had this big talk about how she can't believe she met someone cool, and I can't believe I met someone cool....and about how people like us are scattered very thinly throughout the world. Meow ;/
There was a Barbara Stanwick marathon on, and me, she, and Joe all chilled watching it, with our favoritest awesome older people who we chill with at that bar (picture really righteous 70 year olds who look like white haired Jimmy Stewarts).
After that we went to a concert, with some friends who've come up from Las Vegas. The Animals. Yep. The Animals. (misunderstood, we gotta get outta this place, house of the rising sun)
*sigh* ....it was a whistful night.
